| Lloyd Smith Solutions proudly displays the work of Thunder Bay resident, Elizabeth Buset. The Ottawa House co-working, cyber-cafe is now the new home for a large portrait series completed by Elizabeth during the summer of 2008. Featured here: Self Portrait |
While equally interested in drawing, painting, and printmaking, Elizabeth has chosen printmaking as her major and will focus on combining multiple printing techniques for her graduating show. She will also continue her painting studies at Lakehead and looks forward to completing a major painting series under the guidance of Ann Clarke.
Elizabeth has just recently begun to exhibit and sell her work. In April 2008 she received five awards at the Juried Student Art Exhibition: The Gilbert Family Award, The Framing Post Award, The Thunder Bay Art Gallery Award, Dean’s Award in Drawing, and People’s Choice Award.
Currently her work can be viewed and purchased at the Rainge Gallery and VillEdge Art. She will begin teaching introductory art classes at VillEdge Art in September.
Throughout the summer she has been busy preparing her new studio for the fall as well as completing a large portrait series for Lloyd Smith Solutions, Ottawa House. After graduating she will be traveling to China and then will return home to work independently. Eventually she would like to further her education by receiving a master’s degree, either in Canada or abroad.
Though dedicated to her schoolwork Elizabeth has accepted commissions during the school year. If interested please contact her at or at 807-577-6380.
